Prologue
This does not qualify as a
prologue by any stretch of imagination. But today I want to break the rules.
With every ounce of excitement,
I am delighted to announce to you my esteemed readers that I am two decades and
five years old today. I remember Twenty-Four like it was just yesterday. A lot
has changed in the last 365 days!
I have decided to give you a little privilege for
those who have no inkling about the guy behind the words. I am doing things a
little differently this time around. Enjoy.
A
description Me
My name is Othman Yahaya and I
just turned Twenty-Five. I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I am an enthusiast, a
lover of music, and sports, particularly football. I love writing, engaging in
community development, and traveling. Sometimes I consider my dreams a little
grandiose-all worked up in my head but not descriptive in concrete terms. Most
times I’m scared of new and overwhelming tasks, though I know I’m capable of
achieving remarkable results.
Integrity, discipline, diligence, and
excellence are non-negotiable attributes for me. I have to mention that I’m a
Legal Practitioner.

Epilogue
I’m gradually inching towards matured
manhood, and the magnitude of what responsibility lies ahead is becoming more
and more vivid with each fleeting day. And I make this call to men (women as
well) to awake to our responsibilities as stewards of our Master and citizens
of an ailing nation. With great knowledge comes great responsibility.
We must rise to the challenge
that confronts us. Let’s quit sitting clumsily on our hands; let’s arise and
build the walls of Nigeria.
I’d probably have a shindig, but I am seriously disposed to
being indoors all day long. Thanks for reading through. I hope to see you soon
at Twenty-Six where there will be more exciting packages for you.
Happy Birthday to ME!
