Hard Drive Attack!

I never thought I’d be writing this. Some weeks ago, my computer crashed, and my hard disk with it. It would have been an occurrence that I would stomach if I had my data backed up somewhere safe. All my documents, videos, and music are gone. Even unbearable is losing all the manuscripts, book projects, journal, articles, great and deep thoughts I have kept for the near future. My life has been taken from me forever. I really do wonder how I would cope.
My computer has been a trusty friend for the last four years until now. The thought of getting a new computer makes me uneasy. I am typing this with another computer at home, and it feels weird. I do understand now what it means and how it feels to lose something so valuable.
I am writing this for all the computer users, writers, bloggers, executives and gamers who love their ‘stuffed’ computers, and who are unwilling to lose any data to do a backup as soon as they read this. Learn from my experience!
There are a lot of ways you could store and protect your data:
Get an external Hard Drive
This is the most common and popular means to safeguard valuable data on your computer. A Hard drive makes for easy access and mobility of your data. It is not susceptible to a Hard disk attack; even when your computer fails, your information is safe in an external device.
Cloud Drive
Looking for an efficient and cheap way of keeping your data safe, the Cloud Drive is a good option, if not the best. Limitless data can be stored with no much fuss. Only you need do is open an account and you’re good to go. Once you have internet connection, easy access is guaranteed.
Compact Disk Drive
This medium is not really in vogue. It entails buying an empty CD of whatever size of your choice and copying all the data from your computer into the drive. The major drawback of this medium is that the CD is susceptible to damage ranging from scratching and breaking.
Protecting your data might seem hectic or a nuisance at the moment. However, it is absolutely much more disturbing and disastrous to lose every precious data you have in your PCs. Be wise. Do a backup as soon as you’re done reading this!
